When you visit impactguard.ca, our analytics provider (Google Analytics) automatically records your general location (city and country), the pages you visit, how long you stay, and the device or browser you use. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
How we use your information
To respond to inquiries
We use the contact details you provide to follow up on quote requests and answer questions. We do not add you to any marketing list without your explicit consent.
To improve the site
Aggregated analytics data helps us understand which pages are useful and where the site can be improved. No personal data is involved in this analysis.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Data retention
Contact and quote requests
We retain contact form submissions for as long as is reasonably necessary to manage the client relationship and for standard business record-keeping. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.
Analytics data
Aggregated analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics default retention settings (14 months by default). This data does not identify individual users.
Your rights
Access and correction
You can request a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate. Email us at info@impactguard.ca to make a request.
Deletion
You can ask us to delete your personal information at any time. We will fulfil requests within a reasonable timeframe unless we are required by law to retain the data.
Withdrawal of consent
If you have provided consent for any processing, you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.
