Automotive Anti Smash-and-Grab Window Film in Toronto & the GTA

Automotive

The smash-and-grab ends at your side window.

Security film on your side and rear windows, built to defeat the spring-loaded punch tools behind nearly every GTA vehicle break-in. Your car goes from easy target to the one they skip.

01The reality

Vehicle break-ins are a tool problem.

The vast majority of vehicle break-ins in the GTA are done with a single tool: a spring-loaded glass breaker. A tap, a crack, and the window is gone in seconds. The thief is inside before a passerby can react.

That is the exact attack our automotive film is built to defeat.

02Why it works

Quick break tools stop working. Thieves stop trying.

Spring-loaded glass breakers are the go-to weapon for vehicle smash-and-grabs because they shatter a standard window silently in under a second. With Impact Guard film installed, that tool just bounces off. The glass cracks but holds together, and the thief can't reach through.

To get in, they'd need to physically hammer the window apart. That kind of attack makes noise and takes time, and most thieves don't stick around for it. They move on to an easier car. That's exactly the point.

03The scope

What it covers, what it does not.

Simple rule: every window that thieves target, we protect. The one window they do not target, we do not.

Covered
  • Driver side window
  • Passenger side window
  • Rear side windows
  • Rear window
Not covered
  • Windshield

Why not the windshield? Windshield curvature and laminated construction make a proper install impractical. More importantly, windshields aren't smash-and-grab targets. Thieves don't break the windshield to get into the car. They break the side window closest to what they want.

One vehicle or a fleet

Side and rear windows. Same film. Same install crew.

04Who it is for

If you leave anything in your vehicle, this is for you.

Four audiences account for almost every automotive install we do. If you see yourself in one of them, we should talk. Protecting a storefront alongside the fleet? Commercial installs run the same film.

Trades

Tools left in the van overnight? This is for you. A harder target than every other work vehicle on the block.

Delivery

Downtown drops with packages visible through the window. Film defeats the most common smash-and-grab tool.

Professionals

Laptops, equipment, and gear bags in the back seat. A punch tool stops being a threat.

Downtown Parkers

Street parking in high-theft corridors across Toronto and the GTA.

06From the trades

Tools in the van, every night.

“I park downtown every day with tools in the van. Spring punch tools were my worst fear. Not anymore.”
